Simple logistics for a furniture store
Simple logistics for a furniture store
We were approached by the owner of a furniture business with showrooms in several cities in Ukraine. Because of the need to clarify many details about goods and delivery with clients, the organization of joint work between warehouses and stores was inefficient. Based on the peculiarities of the client’s work, we began to automate the process: from order acceptance to the delivery stage.
Details
The goal of the project is to optimize order processing for a company engaged in distribution and delivery of goods. The main task is to automate order receiving and order fulfillment, including setting up efficient distribution of orders between different warehouses. This includes:
- Automating the order intake process from different channels.
- Integration of the warehouse management system to accurately track the availability of goods.
- Developing a mechanism to intelligently distribute orders to warehouses based on their geographical location and availability.
- Setting up an intelligent shipment request planning system that will automatically determine optimal routes and delivery times to maximize logistics efficiency.
- Ensuring constant communication between warehouses, logistics and sales departments to improve overall order fulfillment performance.
"Automating logistics processes using a CRM system has significantly improved coordination between stores and warehouses, which has reduced order processing time and reduced errors."
